Former Wigan Athletic striker Amr Zaki, 26, could be the subject of two possible loan moves, according to Egypt’s Modern Sport – to Turkish heavyweights Galatasaray, and Premier League side Stoke City.
Stoke City are believed to be the player’s preferred destination.
Zaki, currently playing at Zamalek, has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League, with Portsmouth also believed to be interested in the powerful striker.
The forward, who struck 11 league goals during his time as a Latic, drew comparisons to Newcastle United and England legend Alan Shearer due to his formidable strength and ability to find the net. However, the player’s good form at the start of the 2008-09 season appeared to peter out during the middle of the campaign.
