Early Final: Egypt vs Cameroon in the FINAL 8! Tunisia out in Style!

Cameroon qualified for the quarter-finals of the African Cup of Nations with a crazy 2-2 draw against Tunisia.

Paul Le Guen’s men were stunned by an opening goal from Amine Chermiti inside the first minute.

They controlled much of the play but went in at the break a goal down; then less than a minute into the second period Samuel Eto’o finished a Pierre Webo cut-back to equalise.

A bizarre Aurelien Chedjou own-goal gave Tunisia the lead on 63 minutes, but Landry Nguemo smashed home a second equaliser barely a minute later.

Tunisia ended the match with 10 men after Ammar Jemel picked up a second yellow card for a push off the ball on Cameroon attacker Mohamadou Idrissou.

The Indomitable Lions join Zambia in the last eight after they beat Gabon 2-1 in the day’s other match.
