Video: A welcome party to JS Kabylie (ALG) in Egypt

on 16-18/07/10: Ismaily (EGY) will face JS Kabylie (ALG) in the 2010 African Champions League.

A warm welcome party was organized by the Ismaily FC fans to welcome the JS KABYLIE team.

Former African champions, Ismaily are not perturbed about being drawn against rivals Al-Ahly at the group phase of the Orange CAF Champions League.
Ismaily, the first Egyptian club to win the premier continental club title in 1969 will face compatriots Ahly, thrice winners J.S. Kabylie of Algeria and last year’s losing finalists Heartland of Nigeria in Group B of the competition.
An official of the Sayed Saidi declared to cafonline.com that his outfit is the least worried about their chances in a group with Ahly, record six-time winners of the most prestigious continental club championship.
“We are not worried about being in the same group with Ahly. This is a good chance for the two clubs.”
He added that the huge home support enjoyed by the two clubs will prove crucial to their chances of qualification to the next round.
“This is a good chance for the two clubs to qualify. There is a huge support for the two clubs and that will serve a catalyst to their progress ambitions.”
Ismaily nicknamed the “Samba Boys” will open their campaign against North African fellows J.S. Kabylie at the Ismailia Stadium on the weekend of 16-18 July.
The three-time Egyptian league finalists were also losing finalists in 2003 against eventual winners Enyimba of Nigeria.
