Ismaily boost league title hopes with a 4-2 away victory over Smouha on Tuesday.
Midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou scored twice as Ismaily beat Smouha 4-2 in Alexandria to move to within touching distance of Egyptian Premier League leaders Zamalek.
Egyptian international Abd-Rabou, who returned to Ismaily’s starting line-up recently following a lengthy injury lay-off, inspired the Dervishes to a valuable win which boosted their hopes of ending a league drought stretching back to 2002.
