Al Ahly eased into the second round of the CAF Champions League over the weekend, but Zamalek were made to work hard and only advanced on the away goals rule.

Ghana outfit Berekum Chelsea lost 3-0 to Raja Casablanca at the weekend but still advanced by virtue of their 5-0 home win a fortnight ago.
CotonSport of Cameroon are through to the next stage after a 1-0 home win over Nigerian champions Dolphin left the teams at 2-2 on aggregate, but the Cameroonians with an away goal.
The 2009 and 2010 champions TP Mazambe stormed into the next stage with a 6-0 home win over Power Dynamos that handed them a 7-1 success, while Sudanese sides Al-Merreikh and Al-Hilal advanced past FC Platinum (5-2) and DFC 8ème Arrondissement (8-1) respectively.
