Bob Bradley announces squad for World Cup qualifiers

Bob Bradley has announced the Pharaohs primarily squad for June’s World Cup qualifiers.
They are starting a closed camp in Air Force stadium Wednesday to finalize their preparations for the anticipated games World Cup Qualifiers games.

Ahly trio Emad Meteb, Geddo and Mohamed Naguib were all left out due to injury, while the fit-again Walid Soliman was not recalled.

Egypt visit Zimbabwe on June 9, a few days before playing a warm-up game against Botswana.

The squad:

Goalkeepers: Abdul-Wahed (Zamalek), Al-Shennawi (Zamalek), Ekrami (Ahly)

Defenders: Gomaa (Ahly), Samir (Ahly), Shedid (Ahly), Fathi (Ahly), Emam, Gaber, Fathallah, Abdul-Shafi (Zamalek), Elmohamady(Sunderland, England), Ghazal (Nacional, Portugal), Hegazi (Fiorentina).

Midfielders: Ashour (Ahly), Al-Saied (Ahly), Abou-Treika (Ahly), I. Salah (Zamalek), Nour (Zamalek), Eid (Zamalek), Al-Sulaya (Ismaili), Hamoudi (Smouha), Hamed (Smouha) Hefni (Gaish), Al-Nenni (Basel FC)

Strikers: Gaafar (Zamalek), Ibrahim (Zamalek), Mekki (Hodoud), Temsah (Dhofar, Oman), M. Salah (Basel FC)
