Tala El-Giesh and Wadi Degla reached the semifinal after eliminating El-Aluminium and ENPPI respectively via penalty shootouts on Thursday at the same arena.
The Cairo giants, who are bidding for their 21st trophy, eliminated Tersana in the round of 32 in June, before ousting Tanta 4-0 last week in the round of 16.
