Match info: Venue: Military Academy Stadium | Date & Time: 20 Apr 2014 – 19:00 (CLT) | 1PM ET (Canada-USA)
Champions League title winner Al Ahly will be hosting Moroccan side Difaa El-Jadidi this weekend at Cairo’s Air Defense Stadium.

Kaizer Chiefs’ mission won’t be easy when they will be hosting ASEC Mimosas at Dobsonville Stadium; While Chiefs lost narrowly to Democratic Republic of Congo outfit Vita in the Champions League, ASEC slammed six goals past Algerians CS Constantine in the Confederation Cup.

Tunisian sides, Etoile Sahel and Bizertin, play away this weekend. Etoile visit Horoya, whose Champions League ambitions were ended by another Tunisian club, CS Sfaxien, and Bizertin confront Nkana in Kitwe on the Zambian copperbelt.

Return matches are scheduled for the weekend of April 25-27 and a draw in Cairo on April 29 will split the eight qualifiers into two groups.

Al Ahly is ready for the challange:

Ahly trio Mohamed “Gedo” Nagy, Shehab Ahmed and Mahmoud “Trezeguet” Hassan are set to make their comebacks from injuries after they were all declared fit to take part in the Confederation Cup’s group-stage playoff against Morocco’s Difaa El-Jadida on Sunday, the club’s website said.

After missing Ahly’s 1-0 league win over Arab Contractors, Egypt’s forward Gedo and midfielder Shehab could now feature for the Cairo giants after recuperating from their respective back and knee injuries.

Young midfielder Trezeguet could also take part against Difaa – who were pitted against Ahly after the African champions were ousted from the Champions League last-16 – now that he has recovered from an ankle problem.
