Bani Yas obligated to pay Mohamed Zidan $1M USD

The UAE Football Association (FA) ruled in favour of Egyptian forward Mohamed Zidan against former club Bani Yas in the fake injury case.

“The dispute-solving committee [at UAEFA] agreed that Zidan didn’t fake injury during the Bani Yas spell and was really injured, according to the documented medical reports,” the committee head Eisa Saleh was quoted as saying in Emirati newspaper Emaratalyoum Wednesday about the verdict that took over one year to be decided.

The club is obligated now to hand the player his payments that value 900,000 US dollars (3.3 million UAE Dirham) after excluding 245,000 dollars for his apartment rent.

Mohamed Zidan announced lately he is getting ready to return to the pitch and move to a big club in CAIRO.
