Gedo adds the icing on the cake for Al Ahly 4-0 win | VIDEO

Gedo marked his return from injury after a year out with a goal as the Red Devils continued their resurgence under coach Fathi Mabrouk with a 4-0 rout of El-Geish in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.

Gedo, best known for scoring five goals to help Egypt win the 2010 African Cup of Nations, has been out of action for almost a year due to a serious knee injury.

He broke clear to score the fourth goal and put the icing on the cake in the dying minutes, immediately after his introduction.
Gedo ruptured a knee curciate ligament in Ahly’s Confederation Cup clash against Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia on 25 May last year.

Ahly claimed their second successive win under Mabrouk, who replaced Juan Garrido after the Spanish coach was sacked following a string of poor results including a stunning African Champions League elimination.
