Italian giants Roma have completed the signing of Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah, the Serie A club announced on Thursday.

“AS Roma are delighted to confirm the signing of Egyptian international forward Mohamed Salah from Chelsea,” read a statement on the club’s official website on Thursday.

“I think Roma are one of the biggest clubs in the world and I’m happy to be on this team,” Salah told Roma TV after the signing on Thursday.

“I think everybody here has ambition and everybody wants to win the title. Everybody will give their best to make the fans happy.”
