Zamalek will be looking to take the lead in the Egyptian Premier League table when they face Ittihad El-Shorta at Cairo’s Petrosport Stadium on Saturday.
Titleholders Zamalek are expected to continue having the upper hand over Ittihad El-Shorta when the two sides play on Saturday as the latter have failed to beat the Whites since their first appearance in the Egyptian Premier League in 2008.
“I am happy for what you achieved during the past games,” coach Mido told players ahead of Friday’s training session.
“All the players will take their playing chances if they meet technical staff instructions,” he added.
Despite Ittihad El-Shorta’s 7-3 loss to Ahly last week, Mido warned Zamalek players to concentrate on the coming game only.
“Ittihad El-Shorta is a strong team and it’s not easy to beat them,” the Zamalek tactician said.
“El-Shorta have talented players, moreover they are coached by an experienced man, Fathi Mabrouk,”
