Mido, seeking to boost his reputation as a promising coach, led Zamalek to three wins out of three matches after taking over early this month but this fine run faces a stern test against high-flying Masry on Wednesday.

“I’m not a magician. I’ve just taken charge of the club and there are many things still to be done to improve all aspects of Zamalek’s game,” Mido told Egyptian Press.

El Masry are coached by Egypt’s all-time leading scorer Hossam Hassan, who has a point to prove against Zamalek, where he played in the early 2000s in a trophy-laden era.
