Herve Renard Snobs Al Ahly

Herve Renard has reportedly turned down an offer to coach Cairo giants Ahly following the departure of Portuguese coach Jose Peseiro, local media reported on Thursday.

The 47-year old manager has confirmed to Egyptian sports site Filgoal that he has been contacted by an Ahly official and that he had been considering the offer.

However he had lately received an offer to take over an African national team and, for him, that comes as a priority.
