Ahmed Hamoudi joins Saudi side El-Batin | VIDEO
Ahmed Hamoudi has joined newly-promoted Saudi side El-Batin nearly a week after Swiss champions Basel announced that the Egyptian’s contract with the club was terminated by mutual consent.
Hamoudi, 26, was a subject of interest for top Cairo duo Ahly and Zamalek after ending his one-year loan stint with the latter.
Hamoudi met Al Batin officials in Alexandria, later posting a photo on his twitter account with players’ agent Jarrah Al Dhoufairy, who is from the city of Hafr Al Batin in Saudi Arabia and is known to have strong ties with the hometown club.
