BREAKING: Mohamed Salah signs for 5 years with Liverpool

Mohamed Salah finally signed a 5 years deal with Liverpool Football Club earning around £90,000-a-week. The Egypt international’s expected £39 million fee surpasses the club’s previous record payout, the £35m paid out to Newcastle United in January 2011 for Andy Carroll.

The winger’s speed off the flanks can add another dimension to an attack that laboured, especially at Anfield, where opponents eventually learned to sit sat deep, frustrating and preventing the counterattacks that are usually the prime weapon of a Klopp-led team.

Liverpool will also look to add a central defender after their pursuit of Virgil van Dijk collapsed earlier this month.

The Reds are also hoping to conclude a deal for an out-and-out left-back, with Andrew Robertson the priority, along with Celtic’s Kieran Tierney.
