Egyptian league champions Ahly will be looking to continue their unbeaten run when they host 11th-placed Enppi at Cairo’s El-Salam Stadium tonight.

Following their 2-0 Champions League group-stage loss at Wydad Casablanca, Ahly manager Hossam El-Badry will hoping his side avoid another defeat on the domestic front this time around.

With just three league games remaining, the Reds will be keen to come up with minimum losses from their upcoming games against Enppi, Masry and arch-rivals Zamalek after being formally crowned champions.

Those games will also be a rehearsal ahead of Ahly’s remaining two Champions League group games, which includes a visit to Zambia’s Zanaco on June 30 followed by a game against Cameroon’s Cotonsport a week later.

Statistically, Ahly have been impressive in the league this season, winning 24 games and playing out only seven draws throughout.

They scored 57 goals and conceded just 11, with manager El-Badry creating a solid defensive unit which is the strongest in the league.
