Juventus suffered their first Italian defeat of the season, falling 3-0 to Atalanta in the Coppa Italia, so Treble hopes are over and several records tumble.

It means there will be no fifth consecutive Coppa Final for Juve and they will not be able to complete the Treble of Coppa Italia, Scudetto and Champions League.

The Bianconeri had not lost to another Italian club since the 1-0 at home to Napoli in April 2018.

This is also the first time all season that Juve have failed to find the net in a competitive encounter.

Only two sides had scored more than one goal against Juventus in Italy this season: Chievo in a 3-2 Bentegodi result in the opening round and Atalanta in December’s 2-2 draw.

Juventus had kept seven consecutive Coppa Italia clean sheets since a 3-2 semi-final defeat away to Napoli on April 5, 2017.

It was a bad way for Massimiliano Allegri to mark his 250th match on the Juventus bench, especially as he was sent off for dissent.

His record with the Bianconeri now stands at 181 wins, 36 draws and 33 defeats.
