Egypt’s Pyramids is likely to seal smooth passage to the African Confederation Cup group stage tonight after claiming comfortable first-leg advantages in the first legs of the competition’s playoff round.

For Pyramids, it might not be that easy but they are still overwhelming favorites to advance to the next round on their first African appearance.

They take a 2-1 first-leg lead back home, having overcome Tanzania’s Young Africans with a clinical away display, thanks to goals from in-form Burkinabe winger Eric Traore and veteran playmaker Abdallah El-Said.
