Mo Salah ‘s incredible goals and assists record since joining Liverpool

Egyptian football icon and Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has won Liverpool’s Goal of the Month title for January, for his goal against Manchester United in the 23rd round of the Premier League.

Salah scored the second goal against the Red Devils in the 93rd minute of the match after a remarkable pass from goalkeeper Alison Baker.

The goal got the highest number of votes for Liverpool’s Goal of the Month title, beating Curtis Jones’s goal against Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.

A goal from young footballer Layton Stewart against Wolverhampton U-23 came in third place.

Salah has scored 66 goal in the league since joining Liverpool in 2017, according to the BBC, and made history by becoming the first Egyptian player to win the Confederation of African Football’s player of the year award in January 2018 for the second year in a row.

The Egyptian footballer won the Premier League Golden Boot Award for 2017-2018 with 32 goals — a new record for a 38-game campaign — and won the award again the following season alongside teammate Mane and Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, making him the sixth player in history to win the award in back-to-back seasons.

He also claimed the Premier League’s player of the month title once in 2017 and twice in 2018.

Already an icon in Egypt, Mo Salah has also become a household name around the world. He was the first Egyptian to get his portrait displayed at the world cup exhibition in June 2018, and the world-famous Madame Tussauds museum in London also announced that the Egyptian footballer will be getting his own wax sculpture.

In 2019, Time Magazine listed Salah as one of the “100 Most Influential People in the World,” and in 2020, he won Liverpool’s Goal of the Decade title with his goal against Tottenham Hotspur in February 2018.
