Soraya “The Queen of Egypt” nominated for African Player of the Decade

Egypt and Al Ahly women’s Basketball team player Soraya Mohamed has been named among the candidates to become the African Player of the Decade due to her great exploits with club and country.

Soraya Mohamed had an outstanding year last term as she won the FIBA 3×3 Africa Cup in November with Egypt following their victory over Mali.

In addition to winning the Africa Cup gold, Mohamed’s sublime performances with Egypt were rewarded as she was named the Africa Cup MVP.
