Zamalek ended the Egyptian Premier League at fourth place with 61 points, 24 behind champions and arch rivals Ahly.

Swiss coach Christian Gross has arrived in Cairo to sign his contract with Cairo giants Zamalek, the club’s president Mortada Mansour announced during a press conference on Saturday.

“Gross will be in charge of the team alongside four assistants,” Mansour said.

“The Swiss coach will receive €2 million, while his assistants will be paid 300,000.”
