Egypt to the African Cup of Nations finals
The Egyptian national team has managed to qualify for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals after a 1-1 draw with Kenya in the penultimate match of the qualifiers.
Egypt had a promising start, as they scored the opener just two minutes into the game. Mohamed Hany received the ball on the right flank before making a low cross towards Mostafa Mohamed, who let it pass between his legs to give it to Afsha whose strike fount the back of the net.

In the 41st minute, Masoud Juma scored the equalizer after receiving the ball behind the defense but the goal was disallowed due to handball.
Then in the 48th, Olunga took a powerful shot from outside the penalty area but El-Shennawy managed to save it. The Al-Duhail striker got the rebound but hit the side netting the second time around.
