Sergio Ramos to miss Liverpool UCL game | VIDEO Report

Real Madrid’s injury situation goes from bad to worse as they confirm captain Sergio Ramos’ injury. Ramos has picked up a tear in his left calf and is reportedly going to miss one month of football. This rules him out of the upcoming El Clasico and their Champions League quarter-final tie vs Liverpool.

The Spanish international had just returned from an extended injury to play their Round of 16 tie vs Atalanta but was immediately called up for the Spanish National Team by Luis Enrique. Despite playing just 53 minutes over three games, it seems like the exertion got to Ramos.

Raphael Varane held up the reigns excellently without Ramos for more than two months, but to do it vs an in-form Barcelona and a desperate Liverpool side will be a huge task for the Frenchman. That being said, Barcelona cannot afford to take the Clasico for granted as Atletico Madrid will do their level best to not drop any more points this season.
