He turned the match on its head following his introduction, leveling the score in the 78th minute with a first-time low shot from inside the area before adding the second three minutes later with a fine close-range volley.
Ollie Watkins ensured the win with three minutes remaining, giving his side a deserved win.
Trezeguet, 26, has made 21 appearances with Aston Villa in all competitions so far this season.
