Zamalek through to Egypt Cup round of 16 | Highlights
Zamalek came from behind to crush Haras El Hodoud 3-1 on Wednesday in the last 32 of the Egypt Cup to qualify for the last 16 of the tournament.
El Hodoud’s Hassan Youssef fired a powerful shot from the outside of the box in the 2nd minute of the game to put his side ahead.
Nine minutes later, Youssef Obama leveled the scoring for the White Knights when unleashed a right-foot shot from a free-kick to make it 1-1.
Mahmoud Alaa netted the second for the Whites in the 50th minute, after Hamid Ahdad was penalized and Alaa stepped up to make it 2-1.
17 minutes later, Islam Gaber was penalized to give Zamalek another penalty. then Alaa came once again to score his second goal and the third for Zamalek.
