Egypt are determined not to let another chance slip away as they take on Senegal on Saturday for a place at next year’s Olympic Games
On Saturday, both the Egyptians and the Senegalese will need to lift themselves from the disappointment of losing semi-finals.

The young pharaohs missed the first chance to secure automatic qualification for next year’s London Games after losing to hosts Morocco, who outclassed their North African rivals to reach the final.

It does not happen very often but Saturday’s clash between Egypt and Senegal is a third-place play-off with the utmost significance.
It is arguably even more important than the final between hosts Morocco and Gabon later in the day, since the team finishing third grabs the last direct place at next year’s Olympics.
