Following football violence that left more than 76+ dead in Port Said, Al Ahly indefinitely suspends all sports activity, announces plans to boycott canal city for 5 years.

Al Ahly Chairman Hassan Hamdy met with members of the team’s board to discuss Wednesday evening’s football violence between rival fans that left at least 76+ people dead – including one policeman – and roughly a thousand injured following a league match in Port Said.
