Amr Zaki is ready for Young Africans | African Champions League

Zamalek’s assistant coach Ismail Youssef has hailed his team’s performance in tonight’s 4-1 friendly win over Itisalat as good preparation for the anticipated African Champions League match with Tanzania’s Young Africans on 18 February.
“We got a lot of benefits from today’s friendly ahead of the Young Africans clash,” Youssef told Ahram Online on Monday.

The Whites’ striker Amr Zaki scored twice today in his first appearance with the club since boycotting training sessions in December for not receiving his financial dues, a problem that was solved by chairman Mamdouh Abbas.

Seeing the 29-year-old hitman regaining his top form, Youssef is convinced that this will add strength to the club’s frontline in the continental tournament.

“Zaki’s return to blistering form will help us a lot against the Tanzanian side,” the coach said.
