Amr Zaki saved Zamalek SC from an embarrassing early defeat in the Champions League round of 64 first-leg in Dar es Salaam.
Returning after three months of unsettlement, star striker Amr Zaki came off the bench to grab a second-half equalizer for the Egyptians.
The home side were given a first-half lead through a fluke goal from Ugandan forward Hamis Kiiza.
Zamalek could go through if they managed to keep a clean sheet against the African minnows come the time of the return leg in two weeks.
