A product of the well-regarded Ismaily youth system, Homos is now one of the club’s top marksman at senior level, scoring 6 goals this term. With his natural talent and elegant touch on the ball, Homos, who was a part of the Ismaily team that reached the 2003 CAF Champions League final, is now considered one of the top players in the club’s history.

It took him some time to settle into his style as a footballer, but the 30-year-old midfielder took the Egyptian club scene by the horns this season, grabbing the attention of fans across the country and also bullying his way back into the national team set-up, earning a re-call after years in the wilderness.
