Mohamed Salah scored his 3rd goal with Liverpool against Hertha Berlin.

Dominic Solanke’s impressive start to his Liverpool career continues to gather pace after he lit up his new side’s latest summer stroll.

This may yet turn out to be the window in which Liverpool spend like they have never spent before – particularly if they were to land Southampton defender Virgil Van Dijk – and they have already broken the club transfer record to land Mohamed Salah from Roma for £36.9million.

So far, though, it is their most unheralded acquisition who is making the biggest impression and Solanke, who won the Golden Ball when England’s Under-20s conquered the world in June, took full advantage of an unexpected start in Berlin.
