Zamalek’s Captain Hazem Emam suspended for two games

Zamalek’s captain Hazem Emam has been suspended for two games by the Egyptian Football Association for invading the pitch & pushing Ramadan Sobhi (Al Ahly player) during the team’s 3-2 Egypt Super Cup defeat to Ahly IN UAE.

“The competitions committee decided to suspend Emam for two matches for his ill conduct in the Super Cup match,” the EFA said in a statement on its official website Sunday.

“Ahly and Zamalek were also punished with a LE10,000 fine for not being committed to their seats on the bench,” the EFA’s statement added.

Also Sunday, Zamalek management decided to punish skipper Emam with a LE100,000 fine for the same incident.
