Nassr midfielder Hossam Ghaly has been officially cleared of any doping offence after the Saudi FA confirmed his second test to be negative.

Nassr said on their official site that the Saudi FA disciplinary committee have given Ghaly the green light to play after more than a month of suspension.

The Egypt midfielder tested positive for a banned substance at the beginning of March, but insisted to have another test in Germany this month.

On his second attempt, the results turned out to be negative.

Ghaly is now set to take part in Nassr’s semi-final return leg in the Saudi King Cup of Champions against Hilal on May 2nd.

League champions Hilal beat their arch-rivals 5-3 in the first leg on Tuesday.
