Al Ahly have signed Abdul-Hamid Shabana from lowly side Mahalla starting next season for an undisclosed fee, announced the Red Devils.
The Cairo giants confirmed that they completed the deal but are yet to unveil its details.
Mahalla waved goodbye to the Egyptian Premier League this summer but Shabana raised some eyebrows throughout the season.
The in-form striker’s praiseworthy performances also urged Zamalek to approach him but eventually their arch-rivals snapped him up.
