Striker Amr Zaki has been included in Zamaleks squad for Sundays CAF Champions League tie at home to Kenyan side Ulinzi Stars, after completing his recovery from a knee injury.
The combative front man, who has been out of action since picking up the injury in October last year, could spearhead Zamaleks attack against Ulinzi Stars, given the absence of Algerian newly-arrived forward Mohamed Aoudia because of injury.
Regular goalkeeper Abdel-Wahed El-Sayed was also named in the Cairo clubs 21-man squad, but it is uncertain if he will play due to a knee complaint.Zamalek will become the first Egyptian club to play a competitive football game since the eruption of the popular uprising that brought president Hosni Mubaraks 30-year rule to an end. They will host Ulinzi Stars at the Military Academy Stadium in a match attended by spectators, despite security concerns. Zamalek are expected to smoothly book their place among the last 32 after crushing their Kenyan opponents 4-0 in the first leg.
