Egypt calls striker EL GABBAS for South Africa’s match!

Mohamed El-Gabas is recalled from Lierse SK to reinforce Egypt’s 4-man striking squad in African Cup of Nation qualifier against SA on 5 June in Cairo

Egypt’s coach Hassan Shehata has recalled Belgian Lierse SK striker Mohamed El-Gabas to the Pharaohs squad for South Africa’s clash, a statement on the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) read on Saturday.
Shehata has already included four foreign-based players; goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary (El-Merreikh/Sudan), Mohamed Zidan (Borussia Dortmund/Germany), Ahmed Ali (Al-Hilal/KSA) and Ahmed Elmohamady (Sunderland/ENG) to take part in the crucial game with the Bafana Bafana.

Amr Zaki and Emad Meteb are not fit enough to be called up for Egypt’s squad for the crucial African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa, coach Hassan Shehata said on Saturday.
