AL Ahly midfielder Mohamed Barakat is confirmed to be out of action for one month with a fractured arm.
Barakat needs for four weeks to repair the fractured arm, Ahly doctor Walid Abdel-Baky said on the clubs official site.
The 34-year-old midfielder sustained the injury when he was joking with one of his teammates during Ahlys camp for the African encounter on Sunday.
AL Ahly will host Moroccos Wydad Casablanca in the African Champions League Group B opener at Cairos Military Academy Stadium behind closed doors, due to a sanction imposed on Ahly by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
