Egypt coach Bob Bradley had a disappointing debut with Egypt after the seven-time African champions slumped to a 2-0 defeat by a depleted Brazil side in a friendly game in Qatari capital Doha.
Valencia striker Jonas scored twice on the 39 and 59 minutes to reward Brazil for their domination. The Selecao could have added to their tally but were denied by a series of stunning saves from debutant keeper Ahmed El-Shennawy.
Apart from some individual efforts, the Pharaohs barely troubled the Brazilians defence after putting in a poor attacking display against Brazil, who missed the spark of the likes Neymar, Ronaldinho, Ganso, Kaka, Robinho and Alexandre Pato.
