Speaking to Modern Kora TVs Ahmed Shobeir, the American tactician said he was impressed by Barakat in the friendly defeat to Bayern Munich, where the Ahli number 8 scored his sides only goal.
When I watched Ahli and Bayern Munich, of course the player who on this night I thought was very very good was Barakat, said Bradley when asked about the possibility of talking Barakat out of his international retirement.
I remember that he had played in the past and had been out injured, but I didnt remember how old he was.
I asked about his age and they said 35. So I thought No thats not the answer I wanted to hear!
But then to be fair, just like with all the other players, you have to judge whether a player is still capable of helping, whether as a starters or as a reserve, whether it is for one game or a whole tournament.
