Ahly goalkeeping coach Ahmed Nagi said that a supporter was killed in the wake of the violence that marred Wednesdays game at Masri.
We receive about five injured supporters into our dressing rooms every minute! a very nervous Nagi told Ahlis satellite channel.
The situation is very difficult
A few minutes later Nagi almost broke down when he shouted: Now we have one dead person! This is unbelievable.
Masris 3-1 win was overshadowed by uncontrollable violence from the home fans in Port-Said, with hundreds of supporters invading the pitch in an attempt to assault Ahli players and staff.
The situation was somehow contained as the Ahli players were reportedly safe, but clashes between fans took place amid the poor security at Port-Said Stadium.
