Hassan Shehatas continental achievements will not help Zamalek in Sundays African Champions league clash with Africa Sports, says Savatore “Toto” Nobile
Ahead of their anticipated match in the African Champions League on 25 March, the coach of Africa Sports, Savatore “Toto” Nobile, has praised Zamaleks veteran manager Hassan Shehata but insisted he is not afraid of him.
Shehata is a great coach with many achievements, but he will not play on the pitch to help his team stop us, Nobile told Egyptian TV channel Modern Sport.
Shehata won three successive African Cup of Nations titles with the Egyptian national side in 2006, 2008 and 2010 before taking charge of the Whites last summer.
The Cairo giants will host the Ivoirians behind closed doors at Military Academy Stadium in the first leg of the competitions round of 32 on Sunday.
Nobile, who arrived with his players in Cairo on Tuesday, is confident his team will get the upper hand.
We know Zamalek will be a difficult opponent, but we came here to prove our worth and win, added Nobile.
