Egypt claimed an easy win with minimum efforts in United Arab Emirates training camp, beating Mauritania 3-0 on Sunday.
Mohamed Nagy Gedo scored twice as Egypt defeated unfancied Mauritania 3-0 on Sunday for their second successive win in their ongoing training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
Ahly striker Emad Meteb was also on the scoresheet as Egypt coach Bob Bradley continued to experiment with his squad ahead of the African Nations Cup and World Cup qualifying campaigns.
The first half kicked off with Mauritania committing men at the back until Gedo stole the show midway through the first period.
ENPPI full-back Mohamed Nassef whipped in a pin-point diagonal cross from the left that was met by Geddo, who easily headed home at the near post.
Another easy strike saw the CAN 2010 top scorer complete his double when he slotted home into an empty net after the keeper punched an Ahmed Hassan free kick into his path.
The on-fire Gedo came again to haunt Mauritanias hapless defenders when he earned his side a penalty after being tripped inside the area Meteb made no mistake from the ensuing spot kick.

Substitute forward Ahmed Temsah, Ahmed Abdul-Zaher and Ahmed Mekki added nothing to an action-less second half in which Egypt looked clearly complacent against their poor opposition.
