Jordan 1-1 Iraq – 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC 4th Round
Ahmad Hayel cancelled out Nashat Akrams early opener just before half-time as Jordan came from behind to share a 1-1 draw with Iraq on Sunday as both sides began the final round of qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup with a draw in Group B.
After both sides won their respective away games in the third round with Iraq leading the table ahead of Jordan, Akram set the visitors on their way to another three points on the road after opening the scoring after just 14 minutes at Amman International Stadium.
But two minutes before half-time, Hayel took full advantage of an error from Iraq goalkeeper Mohammed Kassid to equalise for the home side.
