Belhanda to miss Ivory Coast Match with Morocco

Morocco will be without Younes Belhanda for Saturday’s 2014 World Cup qualifier at home to Ivory Coast.

The midfielder, who helped Montpellier to win the French league title this season, picked up an ankle injury against The Gambia on Saturday.
The 22-year-old completed the 90 minutes in Banjul but is now out for three weeks.

The Atlas Lions salvaged a 1-1 draw against The Gambia with Houssine Kharja scoring a 76th-minute equaliser.
As well as winning the French league title Belhanda was voted Young Player of the Year and African Player of the Year in France this season.
The Ivory Coast got their Group C campaign off to a winning start as they beat visiting Tanzania 2-0 to give new coach Sabri Lamouchi a successful start in charge of the Elephants.
