Egypt manager Bob Bradley is willing to recall Al-Wasl midfielder Shikabala to the national team subject to some conditions.
Shikabala has been ruled out of Bradley’s plans since his infamous touchline incident with former Zamalek manager Hassan Shehata back in May.
“I hope to rely on Shikabala but he must be disciplined on and off the pitch as he also needs to stop playing individually at times,” Bradley was quoted by almasryalyoum newspaper.
“I think it is illogical to have a player of Shikabala’s caliber in possession and not take advantage of his abilities.”
After months of uncertainty with Zamalek, Shikabala seems to be settled at UAE’s Al-Wasl, who begin their league campaign in a month.
Egypt’s next competitive game comes next year against Zimbabwe as Bradley’s men are poised to play a friendly game next month.
