Zidan marks his debut with a goal & assist
Mohamed Zidan scored a spectacular goal on his competitive debut as Baniyas kicked off their United Arab Emirates Cup campaign with a 2-1 victory over Al-Dhafra on Wednesday.
Egypt forward Zidan needed six minutes to open the scoring in impressive fashion; his angled and dipping free kick leaving the keeper with no chance.
He helped Baniyas double their advantage in the 55th minute when his free kick found Senegalese forward Andre Senghor to head home. Al-Dhafra scored a consolation with 13 minutes remaining.
