Ivory Coast unveil squad for Senegal Clash

Ivory Coast coach Sabri Lamouchi on Thursday published a 23-man list of players called up to confront Senegal in the second leg of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations set for October 13 in Dakar.

The squad is made up of three goalkeepers, seven defenders, seven midfielders and six attackers, most of whom took part in the first leg played in Abidjan on September 8 and won by the Elephants 4-2.

The surprise appearance is that of Sayouba Mande, 19, goalkeeper of Norwegian D1 side Stabaek. He is joining the set up for the first time, while Newcastle’s Tiote Cheik makes a comeback to the fold after a brief injury layoff.

The team will converge in Abidjan on October 8 for a three-day fine tuning before travelling to Dakar on October 11 for the clash holding at the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium at 18H30 GMT.
