Egyptian giants Al Ahly have named a 22-man squad that will face Esperance of Tunis this weekend for the second leg final of the Orange Caf Champions League.

After a 1-1 draw two weeks ago in Cairo, the Egyptians will be hoping to pull the tie in their favour when they face Esperance on Saturday.

The Champions League final elevated the cold temperature of the Tunisian capital Tunis. Despite the cold weather and heavy rain, the atmosphere of Tunisian and Egyptian supporters who arrived from Cairo made it feel warm at Tunis ahead of Saturday’s much awaited final.

Esperance yellow and red colors fill the streets while supporters surround the team’s training ground. Tunisian authorities allowed 31000 fans to attend the game including 1000 visitors instead of20000 Esperance fans and 500 for Ahly as both teams seek their fans support.

On the other hand Carthage airport was colored red as Ahly fans keep pouring from Cairo in their teams red colors with the infamous falcon badge named Freedom falcon.

Both clubs supporters agreed the match should rise to the important situation and both teams global fame.

ElBadry: We can make history

Ahly manager Housam ElBadry expressed his delight to see his team reach the Champions League final, and hoped to win the trophy in Tunis. He added “Ahly is a great team and we have a lot of experienced players. We are used to these big finals and will do our best to win the title. We want to win for the sake of our fans who sacrificed a lot for their team”.

Maaloul : It’s going to be difficult for both teams

It’s going to be a very difficult game as all the matches in these big finals. We’re ready to win but we know the game is going to be very difficult for both teams.
