Wael Gomaa and striker El-Sayed Hamdi will be available for Egypt’s friendly game against Ghana on 10 January after the club agreed to release only two of their international players.
“Only Gomaa and Hamdi will be available for the national team from the beginning of the UAE training camp. The other international players will join them after Al-Hilal friendly,” Ahly said on their official website.
Egypt, who recently defeated Qatar 2-0 in friendly, will host Zimbabwe in March in their third match in the World Cup qualifiers’ group stage.
